Class Information - Business Arrangements

**NEW STUDENTS** First & last months’ tuition must be paid prior to classes beginning. If your child quits during the year, the last month's tuition will be refunded if your account balance is clear.

REGISTRATION FEE: There will be a $10 Registration Fee per family due at registration. This is a non-refundable fee whether or not your child completes the entire dance year.

TUITION: One (one hour) lesson per week per student is $51 per month. Classes prepaid or paid by the 15th of each month will be reduced to $46. For each additional child (in the same family) or extra class, add an additional $36 per month, reduced to $31 if paid by the 15th. WE DO NOT SEND STATEMENTS UNLESS THE ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE. There is a $20 service charge for any returned checks.

HOLIDAYS: Please refer to the dates in this newsletter for Holidays that we observe. Please note that anytime Beaufort County Schools close for inclement weather, we also will close. If you are unsure as to whether we are having class, please call (946-1475) or check the HOT NEWS on this website before you come. WE DO NOT FOLLOW BEAUFORT COUNTY SCHOOLS’ CALENDAR FOR TEACHER WORKDAYS OR HOLIDAYS.

Equipment

GIRLS: Leotards (with or without tutus or skirts), tights, jazz pants, etc... color and style of your choice. White Ballet shoes with elastic straps and black patent leather tap shoes.

BOYS: Gym shorts, sweats, t-shirts, jazz pants, etc... color of your choice. Black patent leather lace-up tap shoes and black ballet shoes with black elastic strap.

GIRLS: Leotards, tights, jazz pants, shorts, spaghetti strap tops, etc... color & style of your choice. For Jazz, either the black jazz sneakers or flat black jazz shoes and for Tap, either black flat or black heel tap shoes with heel and toe taps.

BOYS: Gym shorts, sweats, t-shirts, jazz pants, etc... color of your choice. Black patent leather lace-up tap shoes with heel and toe taps and either black jazz sneakers or flat black jazz shoes.

GIRLS: Leotards, tights, jazz pants, shorts, spaghetti strap tops, etc... color and style of your choice. Pink or peach satin pointe shoes with elastic strap and matching ribbons & gel pads.

Hey, Visitors!

Performances

We ask that there is NO OBSERVING during our weekly class hour. There will be three designated "Parents’ Observation Weeks" during the dance year that will allow parents, grandparents, and cameras to observe your child during an actual class period. I have found that less talk and confusion in class will enable your child to focus solely on the activities in class rather than the surroundings.

We will have a Spring Recital and possibly other performances, including a couple of parades. NO PERFORMANCES ARE MANDATORY (although we find it's what our students truly love). There will be a $20 Recital Fee per student, due in May, to help cover such expenses as rent on the auditorium, program books, scenery, props, lighting, extra help, etc... There are NO TICKET SALES and you may invite as many as you wish to attend free of charge. Each student will be responsible for purchasing his or her costume(s) which we will order. Further info and cost of the costume will be given out in January.
